Cyber security: what small businesses need to know

I urge all small business owners to download a copy of this information booklet from the Government.Cyber security: what small businesses need to know - Publications - Inside Government - GOV.UK.

This page documents the security breaches that have been experienced by small business over the last year.

Such security breaches could put all sorts of important data at risk - both yours and that of your clients.

But who would do such a thing?

Well, who sends out computer viruses? There seems to be nothing to be gained from such online vandalism and yet individuals still seem to get a kick from it.

But there is also industrial espionage - a current or former employee with a grudge, a competitor looking to get an edge, or just a simple accident where someone pressed the wrong button.
