New Menu/Service URL Field On Google My Business Maps For UK Therapists

[fa icon="clock-o"] June 23, 2017 [fa icon="user"] Jo Shaer [fa icon="folder-open'] Google My Business

gmb-maps-menu-url-for-therapists.pngIf you're a therapist, there's big news from Google My Business map listings.

You now have the option to add the URL of the page that displays your services on your Google My Business maplisting.

It's very simple to do.

Add Menu URL to your Google My Business listing

Just go into your Google My Business map listing and click Edit at the top right of the main dashboard OR Info in the left hand sidebar.

Now scroll down until you see the field marked Menu URL.

Add in the URL of the services page from your website and Bob's your Uncle.

In addition to the website button that goes to your home page,  you now have a second URL showing up on your map listing for Products/Services.

It displays underneath the phone number.

We discovered this whilst working with our new client, Waverley Foot Clinic, a podiatrist from Farnham in Surrey.

The only downside seems to be that, once uploaded, it is not possible to edit this URL.

My understanding is that this option has previously been available only to restaurants but is now being rolled out to other types of business.

Mike Blumenthal has it on the listing for one of his clients who is a jeweller in the US but I am only seeing it on the pages of my clients who are therapists.

I would love to be able to display this for Lolly too!
