People on LinkedIn had lots to say about the following two images showing terrible examples of Fire and Security installations:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Callum\u00a0of\u00a0Aegis Security Solutions in Kent<\/a>\u00a0was livid about this fire alarm cable\u00a0crochet.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And it’s easy to see why.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Especially as the customer had originally chosen a cheaper quote. And then called Callum to try to fix\u00a0the mess they ended up with.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Scrambled Security Systems<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Meanwhile, Tony from Wall 2 Wall Security in Heywood, Manchester<\/a>\u00a0had been\u00a0asked to fix this security system.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And there was worse to come!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The original installer had talked such a good talk. So this homeowner had\u00a0referred him\u00a0to his neighbour as well.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You don’t have to be a Fire & Security professional to see that there’s a problem.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All fur coat and no knickers…<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

In my industry, it’s rather different.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Today’s modern website designs\u00a0include<\/span>\u00a0stunning images which can hide a multitude of sins.\u00a0Especially if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Very much like the poor customers of those Fire and Security examples above.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Every week,\u00a0a Fire & Security professional on LinkedIn announces the launch of their new website. They are very proud and excited. And\u00a0a lot more Fire & Security professionals\u00a0leave comments about how great it looks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, I am spitting feathers\u00a0because I can see what Google sees!<\/p>\n

A website that won’t bring new visitors and new Fire and Security leads<\/a> 24\/7… <\/p>\n

But you won’t see it unless you know where to look. As they used to say when I was a child: “It’s all fur coat and no knickers!”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And\u00a0it’s hard to\u00a0get\u00a0<\/span>photos\u00a0that make it easy to see the problem.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
