This is your <em>target job role.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Ideal Buyer Profile and Buyer Personas<!--more--><\/h3>\n<p>For example, the Lollipop ideal buyer profile will be <em>Fire &#038; Security systems companies with 11-50 employees who turn over in excess of \u00a31m each year.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>From that ideal buyer profile, we have created a list of likely businesses.<\/p>\n<p>We have also developed a buyer persona\u00a0for those Fire &#038; Security systems companies. This is based on the job roles who are most likely to be involved with the decision to purchase our services. Usually this is an MD, Director, Sales Director or Sales Manager.<\/p>\n<p>The best leads for us will be:<\/p>\n<p>strangers (people who don&#8217;t know about Lollipop yet) who match the <strong>buyer persona<\/strong> from <strong>our ideal buyer profile.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AND who are\u00a0actively searching for\u00a0a Fire &#038; Security marketing specialist\u00a0to help them to get more customers.<\/p>\n<h3>Making A List&#8230; of Ideal Buyers<\/h3>\n<p>So how do you\u00a0identify the best ideal buyer profiles for your business? Think about who your current best customers are. What type of business do you find it easiest to work with? Who needs your product or service the most? And, most importantly, Show Me The Money!!!\u00a0 There&#8217;s little point in choosing an industry type that won&#8217;t help you to achieve your business growth goals.<\/p>\n<p>Make a list of potential\u00a0businesses in\u00a0your town\u00a0who fit. Those with office premises or factories or warehouses. Is there a particular industry that you specialise in? Compile your<strong>\u00a0Target List of Ideal Buyers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Who&#8217;s Your Buyer Persona?<\/h3>\n<p><a href=https:\/\/www.lollipoplocal.co.uk\/linkedin-training-courses\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inbound.lollipoplocal.co.uk\/inbound-blog\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/LinkedIn-Training-Page-Graphic.png\" alt=\"identify-ideal-buyer-profile-and-find-on-linkedin\" width=\"260\" height=\"350\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1932\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fire &#038; Security systems installers will be\u00a0trying to identify\u00a0the MDs, directors or owners of physical businesses in their area. These individuals\u00a0will be in need of fire and security protection for their premises. But they may also need advice for their personal residence.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve identified your ideal buyer list AND\u00a0developed your buyer persona,\u00a0go onto LinkedIn and start searching for Company Pages. You&#8217;re looking for the ones that match the target companies your list. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From each Company Page, you can then view which personnel work for these companies and work out who is most likely to be your buyer persona in that company.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Then you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lollipoplocal.co.uk\/linkedin-training-courses\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">use LinkedIn<\/a> to start connecting and building relationships<\/a> with these potential customers.<\/p>\n<h3>Are you keeping track of your Ideal Buyers and Buyer Personas?<\/h3>\n<p>Many sales people will create a spreadsheet and save this somewhere on their computer. And promptly forget where. It should automatically link up to the Company card.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Next, create a Deal card for that Contact and add it to the <strong>Identify<\/strong> column in your Deals Pipeline dashboard.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Go through your list of contacts in your Identify column. Who looks the most likely?
