It&#8217;s Vital For Fire and Security Sales"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the sales teams of most British Fire and Security companies, the lifecycle of a buyer is just two steps &#8211; Lead is generated and Lead is turned into a Customer.<\/p>\n<p>And nothing else matters.<em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>A lead is someone who has the interest and authority to purchase your product\/service\u00a0and who has given you their contact details<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>But there&#8217;s a lot more to it for the most successful Fire and Security sales teams.<\/p>\n<p>And <strong>not understanding your MQL<\/strong> is one of the reasons you <strong>don&#8217;t close as many sales as you should<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Quantity not Quality<\/h3>\n<p>The goal of your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lollipoplocal.co.uk\/digital-marketing-fire-and-security-companies\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">marketing team<\/a> is to generate as many leads as possible to pass on to your sales team. \u00a0The more leads Marketing can produce, the more customers&#8230; that&#8217;s their theory.<\/p>\n<p>The problem is that many a Marketing team fails to qualify their leads. Whether they are in-house, freelance or a digital agency, they are not accountable for the quality of those leads.
