Two Interesting Things I Learned Today From Google

It was so frustrating. I had embedded a client's YouTube video onto his website but, when the video finished playing, the customer was being offered the chance to watch a fabulous selection of related videos - most of which belonged to his competitors.

So I googled How to stop your embedded YouTube videos from showing all your competitors marketing videos on your website and there was a very simple answer. A dropdown menu on YouTube underneath the video where you can uncheck the box.

A short while later, I was trying to download a piece of code which came with the instruction that I would need to disable popups in my browser. It didn't seem to be obvious - or intuitive as the experts keep saying - how to do that.

stop pop up blocker on chromeAs before, I used Google and discovered this Mailchimp article about how to disable pop up blockers in a whole variety of browsers. The one for How to disable pop up blockers in Chrome advised that you look for a special symbol in the search bar and then click on it to see which pop ups have been blocked so you can allow them. Simples.
